Computer Science Masters Graduate School Admission Results

I am one the posters below who got a notification of status update by email a few hours ago. Checked SPIRE now and saw the acceptance notification. First admit after 5 rejects.

Just kept checking SPIRE and got the message on the login screen: "Congratulations on your admission to the University of Massachusetts Amherst!" and has an admit letter and option to admit/withdraw acceptance. This comes under the "Student Center - New Grad" of Admissions tab, other being "Graduate Applicant Center" which still shows Update Pending. All the best to the rest of you!

Can the UMass admits please share your profiles - CGPA, research experience, GRE scores, area of interest? Thank you!

B.Eng in computer engineering, MS in physics from the top university in Japan. GPA:3.3 (UGrad), 4.0 (Grad). 2 research intern at decent institutions, several publications in CS and physics at workshops/posters but no full paper. Also admitted to a couple of comparable schools. I also applied for PhD programs at other schools but rejected by all, so I'm going to accept the offer from UMass.

Does anyone have any new info? how long more should we wait?

Does everyone have a 'To dept for review' status for Georgia Tech MS CS on the checklist? Or does somebody have a 'Department Decision Made' or 'Institute Decision Made' status? (You can check status on the Checklist at applyweb)

Can this acceptance email be more general?

The Georgia tech website seems to be down for me. Is this the case for others too ? And if so, does it mean anything ?
