Got a better offer anyway!!

$8000 per year fellowship. Going to reject.

Applied for PhD and got accepted for MSc with half tuitions waiver. Weird!

Anyone has any idea how many people are waitlisted in Columbia for MS CS.. and what are their chances? Looking at various forums, it seems like more than 50 people have been waitlisted. :( Seems a lot.. already have lot of rejects and no admits. Please guys if you are not going for COlumbia, inform them.

Any idea as to when these guys give out admits/rejects. Been a long wait :(

My chances were slim but was really in love with the university. Sigh.

To the UNC poster below, When did you send the email? And When did you receive the reply? Do they reply immediately or in 2-3 days?

To the UNC poster below, I sent an e-mail to the join@cs.unc.edu first to receive the result. After they send you the admission decision e-mail, then you can visit the applyyourself website to check status. I think they update your status when you ask them to do so.
