MFA Graduate School Admission Results

I was accepted off the wait list and am locked in at NWP. This opens up an admission spot at Purdue and a wait list position at Indiana University. I hope this will help somebody going through the wait list nightmare.

I am very excited that I have been accepted into the program! I got an acceptance notification 2 days before the priority application deadline and without being interviewed. Good luck to everyone else applying to schools

Anybody hear from Iowa or Brooklyn for playwriting yet?

3a/0r/0p I only applied to low res programs in Creative Non-Fiction; accepted and then wait-listed for a partial scholarship (not sure what that means yet)

To the Stonecoast person and responder: Wow, that was a hostile response. I think the applicant is asking for opinions, not necessarily what they can easily find on Stonecoast's website. I'm sure they can use Google if they managed to apply for an MFA program. No need to be snarky. I don't personally know much about the program, but best of luck deciding and hopefully someone else can give you some info here :)

Phone call from Julianna! I've also spoken with other faculty and staff at this program and I'm honestly deeply excited? This is the only residential program at this college, and it's not a super well known program, but everyone I've talked with seems kind and generous. Now, waiting to hear back about funding.

I didn't get an interview invitation, thought I was already rejected lol I guess this is relatively good news then...

On the admissions page it says acceptances went out by the 25th of March and Waitlists before the 1st of April. So no news is bad news.

Still waiting on a notification about funding... Anybody else in the same boat? Does anyone know whether they tell you if you don't get it, or if there's just an empty silence? D:
