All the Warren Wilson acceptances have gone out to my knowledge - folks have until the 19th to commit, so I expect the waitlist and rejections may go out after that.

Thank you for the advice on Hollins. My current options are: Hollins, NC Wilmington, Minnesota Mankato (I've been accepted to Umass Boston and UNO as well but without adequate funding). How do these programs rank compared to each other and in general?

I agree with poster regarding improbably fast turnaround time. Their deadline is March 1st!

To the person saying Hollins is no longer as "reputable" as they were: please elaborate. Also, are you talking about the program as a whole or the fiction program specifically? I have received nothing but positive feedback from people I've discussed it with.

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has heard from NYU Tisch for any programs lately? I submitted my application and then my video audition a month ago and am starting to get super anxious! Only have had one notification so far and it was a rejection from Hollins :/. But holding out for NYU or Sarah Lawrence; let me know if you've heard from either of these schools for Dance and Dance Therapy please!!

Was called 3/1 and offered a spot, called 3/13 and offered funding. Absolutely ecstatic!

Anyone familiar with the Stonecoast program's reputation and perhaps the program? How does it compare to full-res programs? I'm so confused about low-res programs. Are they looked down on because they are low-res?

To the poster below - tisch has been noticeably quiet. I've heard of a few acceptances, some on here and elsewhere, but it seems like there is some sort of delay. I don't really have any information to go off of other than that, but thinking (ok maybe really wishing) there may be hope yet for tisch applicants. Best of luck to all!!!

Wow, just echoing the strangeness of the quick turnaround. Does it help to apply early? Some sort of batch review? I spoke to someone in the office on March 12th. She said they were still in deliberations and that decisions would be made in a few weeks. She did not say "a few days" and she definitely did not say all acceptances were out or close to being out. Frankly, I thought she said the opposite! Commitment by March 15 also seems crazy given other programs don't make you commit until April 15.

Agree with the last poster. The 2 vs 3 year funding is what makes programs like University of Michigan so amazing. A third year fellowship with full funding and time to focus on writing. Definitely consider that a 3 year program (like Michigan or Syracuse etc) is actually offering you much more $$$ overall than a 2 year program (even if it's less each year).

All thee schools - Minnesota Mankato, Hollins, NC Wilmington - offer my full funding, but Hollins is 2 years the other two are three years long. I just wish I had some info on the programs themselves. I know NC Wilmington has a reputation for being innovative, Minnesota Mankato is mentioned in the "top 25 underrated programs" and they seem super nice, and Hollins used to be great, now that seems uncertain. My primary concerns are quality and funding - latter is similar with all three.

I also have heard nothing and am also curious at what point it is acceptable, if at all, to email them and ask about response time.
