Received an email from Dept. Chair and said "Thank you for your interest in the Creative Writing Master of Fine Arts degree in the Department of English at the University of Florida. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept applications for admissions this year. We will resume our usual admissions cycle next year and encourage you to reapply then. We are working with the University's Graduate School to refund your application fees. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

Received an email explaining that they are unable to accept applications for admissions this year, and they will resume next year. They are also working on refunding applicants. Not a good sign for education in Florida.
