Talked to the program director and found out I have a *favorable* spot on the waitlist. Here's to hoping this is the year (and also hoping that those already admitted choose to take their talents elsewhere). 0a/1w/3r/7p

1a/1w/3r. No word on funding in the official acceptance email, but international students were required to submit financial affidavits and TA applications with their main application. I spoke to the director a few weeks ago – he said that if I've made it clear on my financial affidavit that I can't fund myself, I'll only be accepted if MSU can fund me. So I suppose they're funding me!
