Received an email encouraging me to reapply next year. Pretty disappointing, this was my top choice.

Berkeley School of Journalism does not require the GRE. Berkeley undergrad. I have been accepted to Boston University and the University of Washington to MPH programs. This was the only dual degree program to which I applied. I have not heard back yet from Berkeley's Public Health School, where I completed research as an undergrad. This required 2 separate applications. My references came from a former editor at a magazine where I was a writer and editor, a radio talk show host who has let me guest host his show several times, and a Berkeley professor.

Not expecting to get in. So congrats to the other applicants!

:)

I thought if I don't get called today then I'll be rejected in a few days. I received the email right after I thought of giving up and applying again next year. Never give up on your dreams! Can't believe this is happening.

So excited! Call came later in the day than I thought it might. So don't lose hope if it's late in the day :)

Just got a call saying that I was recommended for admission. haven't received the admission letter though.

invited to interview via email 1/6/18

My first choice but life will go on.
