Master's degree from Ireland. My application was rejected because they "could not find adequate supervision" even though I had emailed professors and the department about this...!

GPA is for my master's. This one was surprising to hear back from earlier than others. I assumed there would be a ton of applicants with the waived application fee.

GPA is for master's degree. This was an even more competitive year than most. I have one other acceptance. If you are wait listed, there is a decent chance I will make a decision before April.

this barbie was built for waitlists!

Received an email and attached letter informing me that I'm on a waitlist. Celebrating! 0a/3w/3r/5p

Received an email from the DGS saying I got waitlisted. I thought last year was tough, but this cycle is brutal! 0a/2w/3r/6p

GPA is MA. Still very hopeful, so fingers crossed!

Received an email with a super formal waitlist letter. Subfield Victorian lit. Completely out of my expectations! 1a/1w/10r/13p

Notification to check portal, followed by a very kind email from the DGS. Best news so far, but I don't mean to rush anyone :) Congrats to all admitted, I hope to get the chance to join you! Third waitlist -- the academic benching is becoming unbearable haha. For those still waiting or who were not interviewed, don't despair! Pasting this info from someone admitted in 2020: "Adcom decides how many from each subfield they will take; subfields meet independently and decide how they want to select finalists. Some subfields decide to interview; others do not. It varies from year to year which subfields do this (in previous years, for example, medieval has interviewed but not other subfields)." 20th/21st C. interviewed this year, so have hope if that's not your subfield.

Mass email without my name and I was BCC'ed. :/
