waiting to see my aid award...i think it comes by the end of this month

Waiting to hear about funding.

Didn't get into the Ph.D. program, but got offered a spot in the Master's program!!!! Waiting to hear back from other schools, but excited nevertheless :)

*SPEECH@NYU online* Application submitted mid December, finalized by NYU for review Jan. 18, today was exactly 8 weeks of waiting. Generic rejection email. I am a career changer. Undergrad GPA in another field is 2.8, post-bacc CMD pre-reqs GPA is 3.8. Considering they market the program very aggressively, advertise no minimum GPA and claim to have no max number of students, this is a bummer. They were the ones that initially contacted me last summer. I have received one acceptance to another program so far, so I'm not totally devastated.

Had an interview four weeks ago. Apart from the posts below, has anyone else heard back?

Does someone know what is happening with NYU Sackler? It's been over a month since my interview and I haven't heard anything. Please, update

Has anyone heard for NYU speech Online? I submitted my application 1/27 and received a call two weeks ago confirming a document I turned in with the application and haven't heard since. There isn't a portal but I am seeing some acceptances via email. I am also still waiting back to hear from two NJ schools and haven't received anything. The wait is killing me.

Applied for PhD and admitted to masters without funding

I called and got through to the admissions office who informed me that all students who had been accepted had been notified and that I would receive a decision in 48 hours. Which can only mean a rejection given that I haven't been informed of my place.

If you are planning on attending another institution, please decline your offer for those on the waitlist! Thanks so much! :)

To the poster below: Yes, I think the visit day was more of a formality. I heard that they said they are targeting at 3 incoming quants.

As I understand from the previous posts, they made at least 3 quant offers.

Side note: GMAT/GRE scores aren't good predictors for admissions. Think of it as a job. They seek individuals with highest research potential. As long as you pass 80/90%, you're good with test scores, I guess. The dominant factor is your ability to succeed in research and find a great placement that is good for you and school. I apologize for this answer if you're already aware of it. I just wanted to share my perspective. I applied to Stern but heard no words yet. I guess, it must be a painful rejection.
