Did the posters who received reply from the office that their decisions will be available in 48-72 hours receive their results on the portal? Super weird. If it is a rejection, why wait 48-72 hours to update?

Anyone with updates on their status? Its 8th in LA now.. Will the updates be available by the end of the day? :(

TTPB - The email I got on 2nd July mentioned the 2 options I listed below, but the website mentions 4 options (the fuckers didn't even mention on the website that these 4 options don't apply to everyone). I emailed [email protected] and [email protected]. This is the reply I got from the former today = "Thank you for your email. Because you were waitlisted, the five options to update does not apply to you. If you wish to be considered for the Spring 2021 or Fall 2021 term, you will need to reapply.".....If some waitlisted-->admit students are allowed an option to defer while some aren't, idk what to say, but this college is seriously, seriously fucked up and keeps money as its first priority, fucking playing with the careers of prospective students.

To the "Applied Data Science" poster below -- they gave you an option to defer to the next Fall?? Wtf, I got into CS (DS) on July 2nd after being waitlisted, and the only options I have are in-person or online Fall 20. I even confirmed this by dropping them a mail and they replied that yeah I have just 2 options.

TTPB: Yep, even I got the same reply to wait for 48-72 hours. What is taking so much time I don't understand :(

Finally received an offer of admission. Do not know the status of if there will be more. I went to there for undergrad.

Keep thinking this will be the week we will get results, but I've been proven wrong for every week since March...

What the fuck it is going on, July has also started , Now its too much. I have no more patience.

I am also the victim of this waitlist thing by USC. I had emailed the USC Grad Office to ask about the decision status but in response, after 4 days I received an email telling me to redirect my queries to [email protected] or call on (213) 740-7755. So, I did that too and got an automatic reply stating "In observance of the Fourth of July holiday our office will close early on Thursday, July 2nd, and will reopen on Monday, July 6th." They left a small note too, "We have a small but hardworking staff that is replying to your message asap."

TTPB I mean most classes will be held online as the campus will remain closed

TTPB - What do you mean "won't reopen for the Fall"?

TTPB: As some EE applicant in another POST said, the school is trying to send out all final decisions by 8th of July. Technically, there is still a gleam of hope, but at this point we all know what the whole deal about those late notifications was, a selfish scheme. It is up to you to decide what to do with your offer, but I guess most of us won't be too inclined to pay that much for online classes (USC recently officially announced they are changing courses and are not going to reopen for this fall), especially if it is not even guaranteed that you will get on campus for Spring 2021 . 57k new cases in one day. This is not a second wave, it is just getting started.

TTPB. I applied to AI, General, Scientists and Engineers. Received results from none of them.

To everyone who is still waiting, what track did you apply for? I got rejected from track A.I. but have not heard back from the general one. You are supposed to get a decision for each program.

If only rejections were left, they would have already sent out the results. I think they are waiting for something (I don't know what). Aren't the statement of intent deadline over already? What would they be waiting for? Sooooooo unprofessional administration. They should have sent out another email saying that the decision process is taking longer than the date they promised in the waitlist email, so us applicants can a tleast know what's going on.

I got my result 4 months after apply!
