Accepted for Winter 2021, not Fall 2020. There was no option for selecting that. Got no email notification. Checked the portal. 20k scholarships. Ain't much but I am taking this for a run considering the COVID situation and its impact for the next application cycle.

Anyone still waiting on a decision for MS CS?

Screw them I'm going to Wisconsin Madison... Glad didn't get the admit otherwise would had to pay hefty fees...

TTPB: For the "why do you want to be wait-listed question" - how many minutes do we get to speak? And did you get asked anything else? Thanks!

waitlisted after all this time lol, and asked why I want to be on waitlist? Just because I like getting no signals and rejected

TTPB: Was your question literally 'Why do you want to be on tje waitlist?'

Asked for a video interview on why I want to be on the waitlist.

TTPB: Did you get another interview request on InteviewStream? Is it another video interview or a questionnaire for the Waitlist?

Haven't gotten the email to respond. Also quite sure there won't be any acceptences this late into the summer :(

"I'm writing to you to thank you for your interest in the Fall 2020 CS@CU MS program at Columbia University. Your application was cited by our faculty as being exceptional, however, at this time we are not able to offer you a spot in the incoming class. However, because your application stood out, the faculty would like to extend to you an opportunity to remain on our waitlist. If you are interested then we'll keep you at the top of our list should a spot in the incoming class become available. " got this email today, not expecting much though

Is anyone still waiting for their CIS decision? Did they mention earlier all decisions will be made by 7/15?

After careful evaluation of your application, the M.S. Review Committee regrets to inform you that your application for the M.S. program in Computer Engineering was denied. Admission is highly selective and we cannot accommodate the full number of talented applicants who apply each year. Got that long time ago looks like it's either NYU courant or USC for me...

Not quite sure why they have left us pending...

To the CMU admit below, can you please share your profile? Thanks and congratulations!

No clue, but it'd be very frustrating if that were the case. I've been refreshing the page constantly today since the status change, but still pending :(

Does Columbia only release results on Monday? So rest of us r still Pending here for another week?

FML man got into CMU for CS so not worried but wanted to get into Columbia as it was my dream uni anyways not that worried CMU here I come...

Finally got a rejection. Wasted so much time checking the status. Columbia does not respect its applicants at all.

After all this waiting...Mixed feeling
