- "I'm writing to you to thank you for your interest in the Fall 2020 CS@CU MS program at Columbia University. Your application was cited by our faculty as being exceptional, however, at this time we are not able to offer you a spot in the incoming class. However, because your application stood out, the faculty would like to extend to you an opportunity to remain on our waitlist. If you are interested then we'll keep you at the top of our list should a spot in the incoming class become available. " got this email today, not expecting much though
