Forgot to update, But got rejected without wait-list last month. Heading to Tufts, so its fine !

To The poster below, i was waitlisted a month ago and I haven’t either, received a reply back since then. Would you mind sharing your profile ?

Anyone hear anything from the university? Deadline for the application was Jan 15th, 2019 and already more than 4 months passed. Sent several e-mails to the admission office and received no reply at all. Got no idea what's going on.

They are competitive. Damn ! will have to choose a lower ranked school now.

6th acceptance.

Made to wait for four months since submission to get a generic rejection email, even after I'd submitted well over a month before the application deadline. I only wish I had known considering that many universities/programs with much cheaper application fees do much better at correspondence with prospective students.

I had 4 journals, 5 research papers and one internship. 7a/3r/0p

Crap!

The generic message of too many qualified applicants vying for very limited positions.

I was accepted for admission on 5th but without funding. Yesterday to my mail I received a reply that they have tight budget and they won't be able to provide funding. This was my last hope. Can anybody suggest if there is any possibility of obtaining funding from school or from any other source.

To the poster Below, Iowa State is world class AAU institution with top ranked programs in sciences. Economics at Iowa State is routinely ranked among the top 40 in the US and top 90 in the world. UIC, while a good institution, is just a regional campus of an AAU institution ( UIUC). This is a no brainer if they are both funded. Go to Iowa State. I got accepted too, but i wont be attending since i am going to U Chicago.
