Reapplied without fee for Spring 21. Accepted. Is there group for Spring 21 admits?

People who got "we invite you to apply for the Spring 2021 semester" with fee waived: Did you your application get reopened? The Spring application window was opened on Aug 1 if I'm right...

Denied for the Fall 2020 but recommended for Spring 2021 semester.Which is odd because I though CMU doesnt do spring admittance but oh well. I have a friend who went there and he said basically they like you as an applicant but are full for the semester. Hence the deferment for spring admit. Good luck to all

At least the application fees will be waived for spring2021 :P

Unfortunately, due to the limited size of the M.S. class and the constraints of our facilities, we are unable to admit you to our graduate programs for the Fall 2020 semester. However, the Admissions Committee recognizes the potential in your graduate application and would like invite you to apply for the Spring 2021 semester without any application fees.

TTPB: May 1st is the confirmation deadline for most of the admits. So, they will declare the remaining results, admit or reject, after that.

TTPB: I too am waiting for a decision from the ECE department. I have reached out several times only to receive the same message that "no decision has been made on my application." This is completely unacceptable for a university as prestigious as CMU. Regardless of the pandemic situation, nearly five months is far too long to without a decision. The April 15th deadline should be respected.

TTPB: Sharing the the same concern. Few got admits for Spring 21. Not sure what they're consolidating first Fall 20 or Spring 21. Fingers crossed.
