- Denied for the Fall 2020 but recommended for Spring 2021 semester.Which is odd because I though CMU doesnt do spring admittance but oh well. I have a friend who went there and he said basically they like you as an applicant but are full for the semester. Hence the deferment for spring admit. Good luck to all
