Virtually interviewed at UCSF 2020 and was obviously rejected. Spent 2 years improving application. Now have 5 publications and more relevant presentation/independent research exp to my neuro interests. Still rejected from even the round one zoom interview... No idea why I applied to neuro programs when they are the most competitive. If I had to apply again I would have chosen a program with a higher acceptance rate like, BMS, Bioengineering, Genetics, Tetrad or PSPG.

Had an informal interview a while back. Good feedback from every professor I had contacted. Really thought I had this one in the bag.

This is for December 2022 for Fall 2023** Could not list that as an option. Email invite to interview in Jan or early feb (virtual) then accepted students in-person visit in March Strong LOR (3-4), undergraduate research, and a year of full-time teching/RA at HMS

don't really know how i got rejected considering i had strong LOR's and experience, but whatever.

Bachelor in Computer Science + neuroscience experience. Not suitable for "highly research-oriented program"

3 amazing LORs, perfect test scores and GPA for both bachelor's and master's, 3 years in research. Was promised interview back in December but never got more follow-up. Finally got an email back from department saying I "didn't meet criteria" for an interview???? I emailed back asking about the criteria lol... no response. JUST got my actual rejection today. Pathetic, UMass.

They invited me to interview but provided no date for the interview. I searched online, emailed two different people at Rutgers, and called grad admissions more than once. I never received a response using any of these outlets and couldn't find the information elsewhere. Today is the deadline to commit to a PhD program, so I guess I should switch "interview" to "rejection"
