- Virtually interviewed at UCSF 2020 and was obviously rejected. Spent 2 years improving application. Now have 5 publications and more relevant presentation/independent research exp to my neuro interests. Still rejected from even the round one zoom interview... No idea why I applied to neuro programs when they are the most competitive. If I had to apply again I would have chosen a program with a higher acceptance rate like, BMS, Bioengineering, Genetics, Tetrad or PSPG.
