IGNORE STATUS: Has anyone heard from UBC-V since interview day?

1 international sustainability internship, capstone publication (environmental consulting, data analysis)

Ignore the decision. Has anyone heard from this program/been interviewed?

Email from grad program director

Ignore status. Is the Columbia rejection below real and have others received a decision? I saw acceptances but I haven’t received either

Unofficial acceptance via email; official letter in portal.

E-mail to check portal. Expected since there was no request to interview.

HAS ANYONE HEARD BACK YET AFTER THE INTERVIEW?!!!

informed by POI. check portal later.

Two MA degrees. Completed both of them with a 4.0 GPA. A couple of first author papers in peer-reviewed journals, one of them in a Q1 journal. Several years of research experience.

Notification to check portal, followed by a very kind email from the DGS. Best news so far, but I don't mean to rush anyone :) Congrats to all admitted, I hope to get the chance to join you! Third waitlist -- the academic benching is becoming unbearable haha. For those still waiting or who were not interviewed, don't despair! Pasting this info from someone admitted in 2020: "Adcom decides how many from each subfield they will take; subfields meet independently and decide how they want to select finalists. Some subfields decide to interview; others do not. It varies from year to year which subfields do this (in previous years, for example, medieval has interviewed but not other subfields)." 20th/21st C. interviewed this year, so have hope if that's not your subfield.

I was shocked to get rejected from this program because it was a perfect fit and I got a positive response from my POI. Now I am very disappointed and worried about my future because I failed this match school...

I received an email from the director in the evening congratulating me on my acceptance. We are meeting in person next week to discuss program details and funding.
