Has anyone heard from MCC about interview yet? They say we hear by mid-February about interviews so I'm guessing if I don't hear anything soon then I'm rejected?

Bummed about this. Still waiting on 3 other schools to get back to me. so far I am 1a/3r/3tbd

Graduating undergrad in only 3 years. Went to community college 1 year got a 3.93, then went to BU got a 2.17 first semester and a 3.4 the next, guess that wasn't good enough. Did research every semester of college and during the Summers. 1 REU, 1 international REU, 1 LSAMP fellowship, research in 3 areas of molecular bio, 2 areas of biotech/biochem. Great recommendations, research interests lined up with professors.

To the poster below with admission to NYU computer science. Can you share ur overall profile

1 co-author paper published, 2 more on the way. Several posters and ~6 years lab experience. Looks really competitive for international students this year... sad because Sackler is my top 3.

Not surprised as I didn’t get an interview in December. Generic rejection email to check website. Brief stats: 4.0 Master’s GPA in a quite well-known university, one paper, one on the way, many years of research in the biomedical field and chemistry. Went to summer research programs abroad. Many symposiums/conferences, talk excellence awards, and honors during undergrad. This year seemed competitive, especially as an international applicant. Not too surprised at this point.

Master of science 3.88 GPA. 1 year Research experiences. 2 co-author pub. Epidemiology. I am disappointed.

4.00 Master’s in CMB, co-author pub, 3 yrs research experience. Got all interviews elsewhere, including Harv/Stan. LoR writer submitted letter a day late, maybe a factor or just different criteria they are looking for. Notified via email and redirected to the application.
