- Not surprised as I didn’t get an interview in December. Generic rejection email to check website. Brief stats: 4.0 Master’s GPA in a quite well-known university, one paper, one on the way, many years of research in the biomedical field and chemistry. Went to summer research programs abroad. Many symposiums/conferences, talk excellence awards, and honors during undergrad. This year seemed competitive, especially as an international applicant. Not too surprised at this point.
