To my fellow CS PhD applicants: did you receive any updates after the interview? I was told that notifications will be sent out late last week or early this week, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Thanks!

To the poster below, did you find any correlation between seeing that documents message and admits? I think people posted saying it means nothing special and we should ignore it.

So if you never received the "official document requests" link, are you rejected?

To the linguistics PhD who has been interviewed. Did you get the "official document requests" on your application page these last few days or not?

"OFFICIAL DOCUMENT REQUESTs" To the Mechanical Engineering post below, RELAX. It's really just a CollegeNET glitch to allow FUTURE applicants (2018?) to order official foreigh transcripts and have them authenticated in one shot. Here's a confirmation Email I got from the Admission office: "Dear Applicant, You may have noticed that CollegeNET recently updated the application system to allow an applicant to order official electronic transcripts and/or certification letters through their application system. At this time, no action is required of you. All applications are reviewed regardless of checklist status. We will contact you if any final credentials have not yet been received." So, RELAX and forget about this fake Official Document issue. Hope this closes this discussion. Good Luck in your application.

For the "DOCUMENTS REQUEST" on the ApplyWeb application account, I called the Department admiisions office and they said it's a NEW feature added by CollegeNet and has no impact on your "COMPLETE" application status. As long as you already sent OFFICIAL Transcripts, you're fine. JUST IGNORE IT and don't waste you $$$ on this. Would make sens if shortlisted or admitted. Just IGNOORE IT.

To the Mechanical Engineering post below with quote: "certification evaluation from an external agency that Stanford has requested. total of 147 usd plus transcripts need to be sent". HAVE YOU BEEN SHORTLISTED or ADMITTED before going through the same process and SPEND $147?

I also see the update on the portal. I did not have an interview (and most likely think I will be rejected). To everyone: calm down.

Got the same "Official Document Requests" from the Stanford Applyweb form. I Didn't get any admission offer so far just an email that my application was received. Checked the Graduate Amissions page on "Admitted Students Documents request" but it leads to nowhere besides a web form to fill out and submit. What does all that mean? WORRIED !

Does anyone do not see "Official Document Requests" in ApplyWeb form? I'm not sure whether I missed any material documents or not? Who knows what to do with this? Thanks!

A link has opened on the Stanford form, that says "Official Document Requests". Can others confirmed whether the same has appeared for them as well, and can anyone tell me what to do with it?
