Canadian student, non-BSW, 2-year foundational program.

Don't be afraid to contact grad admissions. Just a couple days before I was rejected, I contacted them asking them about the timeline, and they let me know that none of the advisors I named actually were taking grad students, and could've changed the advisors I named had I messaged earlier. I would've been rejected regardless, as I am a rather weak candidate, but just don't be afraid to reach out, you have some sort of power in your outcome.

Pretty sure my acceptance was a part of 2nd round offers (still thrilled!), so I missed the opportunity to attend the open house. Anyone has any insight as to their impression of the program or the culture? If you were offered admissions and turned it down, why?

Waitlisted on 3/22/24. Closest I got to admission anywhere so if you got in and aren't planning to go please notify them.

Waitlisted. I had to email them this morning and ask for an update. I then got an update in my portal that I was on the waitlist. Final decisions will be announced on a rolling basis starting in April. Does anyone know when the deadline to make a decision for those already accepted is? Good luck to all in any event.

I received a very positive email from the director of the program. There was no update to my portal. I am keeping hope alive.

From Canada. Was placed on the waitlist on March 21st for the 2-Year Masters of Social Work at U of T. Does anybody know what % of people get off the waitlist for this program?

Acorn updated yesterday showing "Invited" and requiring $500 admission deposit. I called the registrar asking if I was accepted, they said acceptance letters will be sent out by 5pm the following day (today). Today at 5:05pm I refreshed the Application Management website and in my application saw that status changed. I didn't receive an email and the front page of the application didn't update, it still shows submitted. Congratulations to everyone that got in! I got into the 2-year program as a domestic student, I did my undergrad at U of T and have 7 years work experience in the field.

Ignore status. Has anyone been invited to the interview? How was it? Was there a writing sample? Was it in person or did they have remote option? Did they explain why some people are accepted without an interview and why others are required to interview? Was anyone rejected by this program and if so, was it before or after interview?
