Gah, just got the rejection. Was hoping I'd get an interview there but no luck :/

I received an email from a PI saying that he wants me to do a rotation in his lab. Interview about a month out. Engineering B.S. applied to the Biomed Sci program. 2.5 years of undergrad research, no publications; I do have a design for an assay invention

Didn't actually expected anyway.

Cancer bio track. Interviewed 1/11-1/12, received formal acceptance around 4:30 EST

An international student with a low GPA of 3.06 during undergraduate. But my Master's degree GPA improved to 3.85, which saved my life. I applied and failed for PhD program 3 times already and finally got some luck this year. Currently, I'm in my third year of a full-time RA job. I have a first-author(IF=10), 3 conferences (talking and posters), and have 1 paper being reviewed. I spent three years doing experiments in labs and three years on computational -omics analysis. My undergrad GPA suffered because I had to retake four core courses, mainly because I didn't like my major back then. Just to encourage some international folks who are at a disadvantage as out-of-state students/visa holders, do not lose hope

Email was from the PI whose lab I've applied to, so I don't think they all got sent out at once. One first-authored review paper.

Has anyone seen any updates on their end?

Got rejected after interview. I don't know what I did wrong, I would like to know

Receive recruitment event invitation 1/17/24. Undergrad was studied in US. 9 month undergrad part-time research. 1.5 year post-bachelor research. One manuscript in preparation.

Primarily from a biology background with strong mathematical skills (SI leader), 3 different research experiences spaning 2.5 years of experience in biochemistry, biomedical engineering, and genetic backgrounds.

Have people received notifications? Saw one person claim they did but unsure.
