I received a phone call which was followed up by a letter. Funding information not included. I received an invitation for a meeting to learn about funding opportunities roughly 2.5 months after being accepted.

Got an email to check my status page for admission decision. Was expecting a rejection and I cried when I read I had been accepted.

Received an email today (4/13) titled "Stony Brook School of Social Welfare Application: Welcome!", notifying me of being accepted. It states that a paper letter will come to my address and that I have 14 days from receipt of the letter to accept the offer.

I submitted my application before the priority deadline of 02/26/2021 and just heard a response! Don't stress, it will come!

5 credits senior-level GPA: 3.48. 4,000+ somewhat relevant experience: 8-month co-op as a research assistant with CAMH; work at a university registrar office supporting students, and in community fundraising; volunteer at after-school program with kids and crisis line. research/stats course was 84. Can anyone accepted elaborate on what you think was important on your personal statement?

I applied for the MSW Two Year Program since I do not have a BSW. As indicated in the email, there were over 890 applicants with only 140 spots in the program.

First time applicant, just finishing up my undergrad at Waterloo. I didn't have much experience so was surprised I even got waitlisted. I've accepted my offer to Waterloo for their 10-month BSW program and will remain on the waitlist for UofT to see if a spot becomes available. Congrats to those who have been accepted!

First time applicant and I just got notified through SGS UofT saying a decision has been reached! I am over the moon right now and cannot wait to explore campus and Toronto! I am interested in starting FB group for those who are accepted!

Received the following email from the visiting assistant dean for admissions and financial aid. Thank you for your Fall 2021 application to the UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work program. Every year the college receives a large number of applications with a good deal of merit but can only accommodate the capacity. Since we cannot offer you admission at this moment, we have placed you on our waitlist. Decisions for candidates on the waiting list will be made by the second week of August.
