- Received the following email from the visiting assistant dean for admissions and financial aid. Thank you for your Fall 2021 application to the UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work program. Every year the college receives a large number of applications with a good deal of merit but can only accommodate the capacity. Since we cannot offer you admission at this moment, we have placed you on our waitlist. Decisions for candidates on the waiting list will be made by the second week of August.
