Received email from supervisor notifying that I’d been recommended for admission! Official letter to come. First acceptance so I’m beaming.

First choice. Went there for all my undergrad psych courses and felt like I did a lot for my application. Guess they didnt like me :( super sad and disappointed

Interviewed on 2/17. Received an email to check the portal 3/11. Super disappointed, it was my first choice.

Invited for interview which was 2/20, received email with rejection notice on 3/10.

Accepted off the waitlist on 3/11! SO HYPED

2 papers first-author, 2 papers co-author. Did a great job in writing SOP and Personal Statement. 2 rounds of interview, 1 round with the Director (30 mins), 1 round with the Program Advisor (1 hour). Got put on waitlist first, then accepted after 4 weeks. For folks who has low GPA, I think if you can get the proof that your graduation rank is actually in a good place (basically telling the committee not to be tricked by the low GPA, that you actually have a good ranking in your cohort), then your chances of getting accepted are quite high.

Interview completed on 3/10/26. I was told I will know by 3/13/26.

Mediocre grade with a decent resume and a published article.

rejected from PhD, accepted into MA program

Asked to respond by March 27th for the offer - my response depends on another program getting back to me into the next week or two, but will likely deny the letter.
