Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics (double degree) from top Dutch university. 8.45/10 GPA. High profile LOR, decent SOP.

Received e-mail to check website. ESOP requested. Very excited!

Was really hopeful for this one, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Top UK uni, 3 industry internships, relevant extra-curriculars, thesis in quantum, strong LoM, average LoRs. I think my not-so-exceptional class ranking and average GRE scores let me down most. Also, my background was materials science, so it was a long shot to begin with.

Chinese student, high GPA, two papers in work, it seems that no GRE is unacceptable.

hep-th. Emailed to check portal. 3 relevant research experiences, 2 strong letters, 0 pub. Still awaiting ESOP.

hep-th. Ranked 1% from a top Chinese university. 2 relevant research exps, 4 strong recs, 0 pub. Finally got an offer after rejections from P, S, H and Caltech.

Dream School. Not applying for EOSP, still waiting for results from the Physics program. No publication. Member of HEP lab for undergrad thesis about detector development.

I was accepted in February but I just got the funding offer now!

I read somewhere (but I can't find it now) that notifications will be sent out “in early March,” so I'm hoping by Friday. I haven't seen anything logged so I'm still holding out hope.

Adding to what others said, I haven't heard anything either. I even emailed the department about two weeks ago to ask a question about a fellowship and they never responded back to me.

To the previous poster, I haven't heard or seen anything but last year, rejects came around this time :( Acceptances were all in January/February. Good luck to you!
