When can we expect UTIAS to roll out MEng decisions?

Feel so good! since this institution release this rejection before April 15 at the latest. Some schools seem to release it after April 15

I thought I met all admission criteria. It was my first choice :(

I had since known I would be rejected because I made contact and was told my chances were low. Straight from undergraduate, with 1.5yrs of work experience. No publication and no contact with Professor. Toefl 111/120. I had applied since October last year. I'm happy I wasn't waiting on them. I already Have a better offer and wouldn't have accepted even with full funding. Good luck to others

Hi all. I have contacted my POI and he gave me an unofficial acceptance for Ph.D. starting in Fall 2021. However, I am in a waiting list. Please let the department know as soon as possible in case you won't accept your offer from UT Austin.

To the other poster: Also no idea on funding. Will probably email the graduate advisor contact and see if they can give me more info

Contacted the grad coordinator about my application status. She replied ''I spoke with our Director of Programs who does admissions, and she explained that we have made the first round of offers to prospective PhD students. We are waiting on the responses to these initial offers to see if we will make additional offers in the near future. Please keep monitoring your email and application portal for updates. ''

Received an email to check the portal at 12:15AM Texas time today (April 1st) to check the online portal. I was completely expecting a rejection this late in the process and was totally surprised to have been accepted (as with my other acceptance, it was spoiled before I even opened the decision letter since the official transcript request notification and other registration stuff was showing, lol). Haven't heard anything about funding (whether RA or TA funding) and haven't had any contact with POIs beyond preliminary emails that I sent out to all 9 of the schools I applied to back in December. If funding for my number 1 choice school falls through, I really hope that I can get funding here! Let me know if anyone else reading this knows anything about funding, and whether a TA is at least guaranteed (or something like that) if you don't land an RA right away. April 15th is right around the corner!

Update email linking me to application website with application decision. Standard rejection

Applied for AUT and RSS tracks (first and second choices, respectively). I was sent an email about an application update, and received a short, generic rejection. I'm not as upset about this decision because CU Boulder was among my last choices for grad school. This must have been a really rough cycle.

Why is admission decision taking this long? It's still showing "application received". They could at least send a early rejection if my application doesn't suffice their requirements, I have to make a decision based on other admits.
