- "You have been placed on a Wait List for possible admission to the Ph.D. program at Cornell University. Because of the very unusual circumstances under which we are living at the moment, we are, for the first time, maintaining a Waitlist for admission into the Ph.D. program so that we can better control the size of our incoming class. We would like to invite you to our virtual visit day which is being held on Monday, March 8. I will send additional information once it has been finalized. If you decide to accept an offer from another school, please let me know so that I can remove you from the Wait List. " Anyone hear from them since being waitlisted?
