It is the policy of the Graduate School to offer admission to outstanding doctoral students only if they are fully funded. Such funding comes from the Graduate School's MacCracken Fellowship Program, offered to a limited number of prospective students selected by the department. The department regards you as an outstanding potential candidate for admission and we have placed you on our wait list for admission. However, since we have only a limited number of full-funding offers that we may make, we are not yet able to make a final decision on your application. We hope to get a better sense of the resources available to us, and thus be able to determine whether we might be able to offer you admission with funding, by April 15. | ||||
