- On behalf of the Department of Physics, I am writing to inform you on the status of your application for admission to New York University's Graduate School of Arts and Science. It is the policy of the Graduate School to offer admission to outstanding doctoral students only if they are fully funded. Such funding comes from the Graduate School's MacCracken Fellowship Program, offered to a limited number of prospective students selected by the department.
