Did anyone received phd admission offer from Ottawa in mechanical?

Finally a rejection mail after six months. Already moved on to other applications.

And we are yet to see a Mech applicant post 'accepted' on this forum. i'm beginning to weigh options for january admission to other universities.

Hello friends. Has any one recently heard from Adriana or anyone else from the department? Kindly let us know. I still haven't read of a single admit to mechanical engineering either on this platform or others. Will we be considered for the 2018 spring term instead since its really late for visa? Any infor will be highly appreciated.

MEng, international applicant with some solid work experience and solid references from my workplace and my undergraduate institute.

Not a single acceptance for MEng Mechanical and Industrial on this site. Why are they delaying this so much. Any idea how many rounds of admissions have already been sent. Anybody know anyone who got selected.

I thought I had an ''A'' chance of getting in since he asked me to apply.... I send mails to the unit and they keep saying my application is still being reviewed... please can anyone enlighten me on how addmission works in ryerson?

The admission committee notified that if there is no acceptance this late then this should be considered as a rejection. My opinion is also the same, dont bother waiting for an acceptance if there is still no response. Terrible admission procedure wasting people's time.

International students are almost never admitted into course/project based MEng courses in Canada. This is because the tuition is around 40k (for international) and there is no funding. This means that to do the MEng 1 year you would need almost 60k CDN (40k tuition plus 20k in living, insurance, books/materials). I hope you get in but few people are able to afford it. This is why most apply for MASc since there is funding.
