- International students are almost never admitted into course/project based MEng courses in Canada. This is because the tuition is around 40k (for international) and there is no funding. This means that to do the MEng 1 year you would need almost 60k CDN (40k tuition plus 20k in living, insurance, books/materials). I hope you get in but few people are able to afford it. This is why most apply for MASc since there is funding.
