Wooo! Notified by the program director via email, though it is not the official offer from the graduate school yet. No interview. My main interest is observational cosmology, and I did a master's program abroad on the subject.

Got an email prompting me to check the portal. (1a/3r/1i/6p)

Got emails from the program director and two other professors, one of whom I had contacted before applying. Very happy about the offer and will probably join. Masters from a similar program and four years of working in the field as a researcher-practitioner and currently lead a well funded research project, parts of which I hope to extend to the PhD. One published article and two in peer review

Email from DGS that I am waitlisted. GPA is grad. If you were accepted but do not plan on attending, please consider declining and notify the school. Thanks!

This will be with a non-POI. Has anyone done the data science PhD interview before and know what to expect?

I received my admit rather quickly. Still considering whether to go or not.
