To those accepted, have your status in application system been changed? I just received an email from EE chair and no formal offer letter. Is it right?

To the poster below: they just added “Grad 20” to my portal under my name at the top and also in the detail section. Does anybody have the same thing in his portal?

Personal email from the department chair and invitation to visit campus in March.

not surprised as sent email suggesting I apply for Masters Program, however, I have no intention of paying them to reject me in two years so lol no, maybe try again for a postdoc as I have offers from other institutions. But the rejection does have some grounds as my background is a double major in chemistry and biology and not in engineering (as my undergrad was too small to have one) but was hoping my 4 semesters of independent full-time research (in the states and abroad), and AMGEN summer research fellowship (a program UC B and UCSF participate in) would counterbalance my app. But as it is Berkely they probably wanted someone with more of a traditional engineering background lol.

Interview dates either Feb 5-7 or Feb 26-28
