no test scores, interests didn't super align. oh well... 2a/1r/5p Email "I regret to inform you that the Philosophy Department at the University of Oregon is unable to grant you admission to our graduate program for Fall term 2026. Our decision was based on a number of factors, including past record, grades and test scores, letters of recommendation, potential for graduate study, and match with the interests and philosophical orientations of the faculty. As you would expect, we had a great many outstanding candidates who had extremely impressive backgrounds and qualifications. This year we considered over 170 highly qualified applicants for our MA and PhD programs. "

Email direct from the department.

Waitlisted and this is my only PhD chance this cycle. If you have an offer but plan to decline, I would truly appreciate it if you could do so soon. Thanks and good luck everyone.

PLEASE TURN DOWN YOUR OFFER IF YOU HAVE BETTER ONES!!! I would really appreciate and wish you all the best.

They contacted me in Jan to let me know it's self-funded so I'm not upset about the rejection. 0a/3i/8r/8p
