- no test scores, interests didn't super align. oh well... 2a/1r/5p Email "I regret to inform you that the Philosophy Department at the University of Oregon is unable to grant you admission to our graduate program for Fall term 2026. Our decision was based on a number of factors, including past record, grades and test scores, letters of recommendation, potential for graduate study, and match with the interests and philosophical orientations of the faculty. As you would expect, we had a great many outstanding candidates who had extremely impressive backgrounds and qualifications. This year we considered over 170 highly qualified applicants for our MA and PhD programs. "
