Rejection notification through portal. Applied to customized track. 8 years full time public health work, 3.8 GPA in MPH

What DrPH Departments at Columbia have people heard from?

Pretty standard email. "We received a large number of well-qualified applications for a limited number of positions. This made our decision making very difficult. We seek to match the applicant's interests with the strengths of our program and faculty mentors. Our successful candidates have a very strong academic record, combined with strong preparation in research methods and quantitative course work. They are also candidates who have a career trajectory that will limit their success without doctoral training. Our goal is to maintain an appropriate balance between the number of students and the available faculty resources; therefore, it has been impossible to accommodate all applicants."

Email to check portal. Not too surprised since I was not offered an interview.

Acceptance email and attached letter do not mention funding. Reached out to program to inquire further.

No notice of financial aid...hoping that comes later!

So excited!! Interviewed back in January. Admissions letter did not have details on my adviser or funding. Fingers crossed on that!

For those of you who are anxiously awaiting news from Berkeley, I just spoke with the graduate admissions adviser, and she told me that the dept expects to send out all their notifications (acceptance, rejection, waitlist) by mid-March. Hang on tight, everyone! We're in this together :)

Accepted to GWU DrPH in Health Behavior. Email says I have been nominated for a graduate assistantship with details to come in an 'official letter' even though there is a letter attached to the email. Not sure what that means or how much that will be.
