Contrary to what it says on Pitt's admissions website, emails did not go out by March 4 via CSDCAS. Instead, I got a direct email from Pitt on March 7 (came in at 6am eastern time). Go figure. Anyway, my acceptance is provisional, dependent upon the confirmed completion of prerequisite courses. Also, they listed linguistics as a prereq on the acceptance email, but not on their admissions website. I emailed them back to ask, and they confirmed that linguistics is not a required course. Had me sweating for a minute!

My admissions acceptance is listed as "provisional", anyone else?

Waitlisted for funding

They never emailed me, I checked the portal one day and saw the acceptance

no gre. got an email from Stephen Engstrom as well

No GRE. Received personalised letter from Stephen Engstrom about my admission to the program and decision soon to come.

So excited!!!! Straight from undergrad at GWU, not much research experience and math, so unexpected. $28k stipend plus health insurance subsidy.

IGNORE WAITLIST. But has anyone heard from University of Pittsburgh?

I got a straight rejection letter. Probably because I failed to upload GRE scores which was highly recommended and also probably because my research interests were unclear.

Accepted via email today!

20.7k stipend, $425 monthly health insurance subsidy. In the letter they note it's equivalent to a 39k stipend in LA due to cost of living

Anyone hear from Pittsburgh? Absolutely no communication from them. I'm curious if they've sent out any decisions yet. Please do let me know.
