- Contrary to what it says on Pitt's admissions website, emails did not go out by March 4 via CSDCAS. Instead, I got a direct email from Pitt on March 7 (came in at 6am eastern time). Go figure. Anyway, my acceptance is provisional, dependent upon the confirmed completion of prerequisite courses. Also, they listed linguistics as a prereq on the acceptance email, but not on their admissions website. I emailed them back to ask, and they confirmed that linguistics is not a required course. Had me sweating for a minute!
