Cannot understand why the letter is so cold. I am sure that I am qualified. But why no interview at all.

Received a generic email to check decision on the portal. Also, a generic rejection letter on the portal.

A cold rejection; no big deal.

Masters at UWaterloo in Statistics with 91.71% average. PhD admissions for current UWaterloo Masters students depend heavily on finding a supervisor, meaning that if you found someone who'll take you in, you'll pretty much get in. Also, you can apply late, as in June-July (and you have to if you did your undergrad elsewhere). I got an e-mail from someone in the department about two weeks before I got an official letter about admission.

Does anyone heard back from UT health at Houston about the wl information? I am still waiting for the decision

İ was admitted into the school of public program in Biostatistics. I was sent a link to apply for funding and scholarships. I have other offer from the University of South Florida for phd in mathematics ( Statistics). Which do you think I should go for in terms of standard of living because I seems Tampa Florida is more expensive to live than Arizona.
