Low GRE but top 10% of my CS class from UCI. (How ironic my verbal is so low) Class of 2022 btw. I have a personal business and a full time job with other competitions and extra curriculum experience. My project at work is similar to researches conduct at MTEC. Maybe that helped me get in? Plus, I heard they are trying to accept more CS students. Good Luck to y'all!

Graduated a semester early, cum laude from a state university in the USA with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and minor in Wildlife Conservation

Found there is no post about the STP program so I decided to post. Major in EE during undergraduate school. Vey low GPA. Very strong motivation letter (I guess). 1 publication as first author. 1 very strong recommendation letter + 1 >=good recommendation letter. Heard nothing about the ESOP and the status of the scholarship still said REQUESTED

I don't have a high GPA (4.13/5) and my background is more entomology/bioinformatics related. However, I have a strong motivation letter, two good recommendation letters, experience as research assistant during my undergrad and an internship. I'll need to take the course "Mathematics III: Systems Analysis". Good luck to everyone

I was worried because I don't have high GPA, so I had big pressure to write a good motivation letter. Personal opinion: It's very important to fulfill the required bachelor courses. Good luck to everyone!

Expected

Apparently I am not qualified for their program. In their requirements, they mention a degree in physics or electrical engineering. Whereas I have done Engineering Physics from one of the old IITs in India, and I have had experience in both physics and electrical courses through my curriculum! Why don't they clearly mention the requirements so we can save money on the application fee?! Instead of just mentioning a one liner requirement. Totally aghast after such a long wait
