I found out I was waitlisted informally a couple weeks ago, when I emailed to inquire. Today I got a form rejection which never mentioned I'd been on a waitlist. Going somewhere else next year anyway, and happy to finally have my last result! Final stats, 2a, 4w, 6r. bye grad cafe hopefully see u never (or if I go for a PhD)

I was extremely excited to be accepted! I had previously been rejected by UCI and UCSD so this was a huge relief. Now I'm just waiting on CSU Long Beach.

I called the office this morning to inquire about wait list decisions. She said that the two fiction spots had been filled and there was one still open in poetry, but the wait list for them was lengthy so there will most likely be no more acceptances for fiction, if anyone is still wondering.

Has anyone heard anything from NYU / has anyone declined offers at NYU? Nervous waitlister here.

To the person who posted question about UNM fiction: I made the excruciating decision to decline full funding to that program. I would think the wait list should see some movement soon. Best of luck to you!

Last spot on the wait list filled. Was my alma mater and has an amazing English department. I'm absolutely crushed. Congrats on those who got in, it's a great school.

When I applied to UW, at the suggestion of their website, I called to confirm my GRE scores arrived. I called 3 times, was told I would be called back, but never heard from them. I emailed them today saying that things happen, but not hearing anything about my gre scores or admittance before April 15th was very disappointing. I received a rejection letter two hours later. I'm thankfully attending a program I'm thrilled about, but for anyone applying to UW next year, I'd proceed with caution before writing the required essay on top of your sample, and paying another pricey application fee. 9a/6r/1w

I just called the UW Creative Writing office and the woman who answered the phone said that notifications should go out today through the online application system. She said they just got word that their final offer was accepted, so if you haven't heard so far, that's probably it. :/ Good luck to everyone!
