Had 2 publications during my Bachelors, but still working on writing a publication on my Masters project. One summer internship at a government research lab (USDA) which resulted in one of my publications.

I don't have any publications or outstanding achievements. I worked in a lab at a state university for 6 months and luckily the PI agreed to write me a LOR. I believe this factor significantly ups my chance to get in.

2 years of research at a top public university. Strong LOR, good (deflated) GPA, decent GRE.
