- Went to a small private university in Illinois for both Bachelors and Masters. I think the Masters thesis research project and higher Masters GPA (3.9) really helped my application. Had 2 publications during my Bachelors, but still working on writing a publication on my Masters project. One summer internship at a government research lab (USDA) which resulted in one of my publications.
