Waitlisted in Feb, got email today

Denied for the Fall 2020 but recommended for Spring 2021 semester.Which is odd because I though CMU doesnt do spring admittance but oh well. I have a friend who went there and he said basically they like you as an applicant but are full for the semester. Hence the deferment for spring admit. Good luck to all

Received answer in one week. BSc from University Politehnica of Bucharest (GPA: 8.44/10). Volunteering, teaching assistant position for 2 subjects, 2 years industry internship + 10 months industry experience in the Netherlands.
