Is anyone else still waiting to hear from Virginia Tech and Penn State?

Does anyone know universities which have waived application fee for Spring 2021? Please share.

I messaged VASE and they responded that my decision has been made and if we don't see the result in YouSc portal my tomorrow night we gotta submit a request and follow up with admission department by filling a form using a link. Any EEs still waiting ?

To the EE poster: Damn dude I got the same message after I spammed the VASE staff for like a week and I have been waiting without a waitlist email too. I guess not everyone of us got a waitlist email. Anyway only 3 more days! with Covid-19 going on a lot of people deferred the admission to Spring or fall 2021, so we still do have a chance bc they gotta fill the fall 2020 admissions some way, USC is all about money TBH, so lets wait and see..

YES, I applied for EE and got the waitlist email back to May 21st and have not received the admission result yet. I context them via online chat and they reply as follow: "We apologize that our Fall 2020 admission review process is taking longer than expected. I have been told that with a few exceptions, all students should have an admission decision no later than early next week. If you have not received a decision by July 8, please let us know." Holy Fu*k !!!!!!!!!!!

TTPB: The person who applied for MS in EE. Did you say you got an waitlist email notification ?! I thought EE's never received any waitlist email, man I am getting crazy over here !!!! I did not get any Email from USC other than the confirmation email for turning in my application. May I know what was included in your waitlist email?

Anyone with EE waitlist got the result? I have never heard anything back from them besides the waitlist email which they state the deadline is July 1st

Any EE still waiting? I contacted them yesterday and they said they will inform my department and have them contact me! I don't know when that's gonna happen. Honestly it took them 6 months to even review the applications and not even send a waitlist email. Anyone still hanging?

TTPB: Congrats. I also applied for 2021 winter. May I ask what is your background? And you got result on Quest?

Canada PR. Bachelor of Computer engineering out of Canada. Overall 6.5 IELTS. No GRE. 4 ys IT work experience. Applied in Feb. No email. Check the result in the portal in June 23. Denied. Very depressed. FYI. Admin said "All international applications should be finalized in the next few weeks. (June) Domestic applicants should be finalized mid-July." Good luck, guys.

Was accepted back in may to the MEngr program and forgot to update. Applied for the Masters with thesis option, was admitted into MEngr instead. No strong research background, so it seems that is likely the reason. Anyhow, for everyone else still wondering if they will be admitted, the likely outcome is no. Basically, VT has a cap for admittance and it seems they have usually met that cap by May 15th. Im assuming that some people are not sent rejection letters until much later incase anyone admitted decides to decline the offer. A lot of you guys/girls posting may have had decent qualifications, but were simply not accepted due to lack of space.

To PhD students from other colleges, any idea about the fellowships given to us, if we were forced to start our program. Kindly share any information about this from the University/PhD advisor. Any inputs on this matter will be beneficial to our peers as well.
