- Was accepted back in may to the MEngr program and forgot to update. Applied for the Masters with thesis option, was admitted into MEngr instead. No strong research background, so it seems that is likely the reason. Anyhow, for everyone else still wondering if they will be admitted, the likely outcome is no. Basically, VT has a cap for admittance and it seems they have usually met that cap by May 15th. Im assuming that some people are not sent rejection letters until much later incase anyone admitted decides to decline the offer. A lot of you guys/girls posting may have had decent qualifications, but were simply not accepted due to lack of space.
