How come in such a small time they have made a decision? Waste of money. Such a poor university.

~$23,500 stipend. No mention of visitation dates. Submitted in October. -- 4.0 gpa. 3 years research. One publication in JACS.

Last recommendation letter in yesterday and received offer today. Applied for analytical chemistry. Two year research experience. Three year tutor/TA.

Received an email from POI for a phone interview.

2nd admission!! But no funding.

Dont really understand why purdue reject me

Has anyone heard back from Purdue? It is July, and I still have not heard! The application status still reads "Application Complete - Waiting for Funding."

Accepted with RA 2000. From IIT Kharagpur. The guy from SUT below who got rejected in Purdue mechanical, can u tell which universities u got admit to.

Letter was dated 4/30. I called both the graduate school coordinator and the director of graduate admissions a month prior when they became the only school that I hadn't heard from, and got no reply. I also called the department and left a voicemail on their generic line, no reply. Sent emails to the director and coordinator of the graduate school, no reply (despite the fact that an email to the same person in February did get a reply). I assume, based on the late date, that I was on some sort of unofficial waiting list (the email said that "the graduate committee has now been able to review your application...") but I was never notified and both the department and the graduate school refused to communicate with me. I found their entire process extremely unprofessional and am very glad that I am heading to another school in the fall. Applicants for next year beware!

After 5 Month, rejected after being wait-listed. Really disappointed!
