- Letter was dated 4/30. I called both the graduate school coordinator and the director of graduate admissions a month prior when they became the only school that I hadn't heard from, and got no reply. I also called the department and left a voicemail on their generic line, no reply. Sent emails to the director and coordinator of the graduate school, no reply (despite the fact that an email to the same person in February did get a reply). I assume, based on the late date, that I was on some sort of unofficial waiting list (the email said that "the graduate committee has now been able to review your application...") but I was never notified and both the department and the graduate school refused to communicate with me. I found their entire process extremely unprofessional and am very glad that I am heading to another school in the fall. Applicants for next year beware!
